I don't usually buy things to give as gifts for christmas. I make them instead.
I started making the Inggo lamp in 2005. My dad and i had a stash of bordeaux bottles, and i had a pile of wings- angel wings. I reckon i still have a penchant for them. One november afternoon i had this idea, and worked on it since.
I do remember karen, marisol, and rhon getting them as christmas presents. Or else i vaguely recall how many i've done.
The photograph is of myself, taken at Sagada, by Rhanch. Wing/photo clipper ends are resin beads.
And why the name Inggo? Ask Katha.
I hope you had a hearty noche buena.
Mabuhay po kayo.

I am a fan of raffy's work. I guess those who are exposed to his artistic side would join me in that chorus.
This lamp looks good. :-) i want to see how it works in real life. I like the landi of the feathers. Yung ganitong lamp has a raw feel to it. Unlike the ones we could purchase in malls. Bagay siya in carefully designed spaces.
And the way these pictures were composed, ganda...
